About these prices: they're the best advertised offers we found via comparison listings on 1 September 2026 (24-month contracts, £0 setup). Buying direct from zen.co.uk at your postcode can be £5–£20/month higher depending on whether you're served by Openreach or CityFibre — always run the postcode checker and compare. Where full fibre hasn't reached you, Zen still sells part-fibre (FTTC) packages from around £33/month, though these are poor value if full fibre is an option.
What every package includes
- Fixed price for your whole contract. Zen's Contract Price Promise means no mid-contract rises — Zen estimates that saves up to £108 over 24 months versus providers with annual CPI+ increases.
- A proper router. The FRITZ!Box 7530 AX (Wi-Fi 6, four gigabit ports) on most packages; Full Fibre Max ships with an Amazon eero Pro 6E mesh unit instead.
- A static IP address at no extra cost — almost unheard of on consumer broadband, and genuinely useful for home workers, tinkerers and CCTV/NAS setups.
- 100% UK-based support, 7 days a week, from Zen's Rochdale HQ.
The catches, honestly
- The best prices are 24-month contracts. 18-month and sometimes 12-month terms exist but usually cost more per month. The price is fixed for the duration, but you're committed for the duration too.
- Out of contract, prices can rise (with 30 days' notice). Diarise your end date.
- No bundles. No TV, no mobile SIMs, no multi-product discounts. Zen sells broadband and a digital phone service (from £7.50/month), and that's it.
- Single-router Wi-Fi won't cover a big house. Zen's EveryRoom mesh add-on fixes that but costs £9/month extra. A one-off mesh kit of your own is often better value.
- Speed marketing varies: Full Fibre Max is marketed as “up to 2Gbps” but advertised at 1.8Gbps average — you will also need 2.5GbE-capable kit to see anything like it.
